Should I talk to my customers as if they didn't know anything about what I'm doing?

You've most probably already heard a presenter use acronyms, unknown concepts and strange sentences... And it made the speech really hard to understand if you're not in the field.

It doesn't have to be in Japanese to be hard to understand

Whatever the subject and its complexity, use reference points that will clarify things to your audience. Put things into perspective and state how what you're talking about relates to the big picture.

Remember that out of context, things don't mean anything to those who aren't already into what you're talking about!

Another thing is of course to adapt your talk accordingly so that you're well received. You don't want to talk about quantum physics equations to someone who's never heard of it... Or speak Japanese to an Italian.

Why are ideation workshops essential for business growth?

An ideation workshop is a meeting between creative people brainstorming on a common subject for the benefit of a group of co-workers. Do ideation workshops the way you want it, what's sure is that you'll remember it! It offers many advantages as it opens up a window of fresh air for the group, allowed for the duration of the session to think aloud without any limits. Move on to the next idea until everybody has suggested at least one idea. At the end of the session you'll be able to come back to them and explore those ideas that are more interesting to you.
