Working days and nights? There's a better way... |
However being fully committed to a project is a dangerous thing in the middle/long term as you'll soon deplete your energy levels. Which isn't good as if you loose hope in your project, no one else will do it for you and chances are others will disengage soon.
Here's one simple rule to remain available in a sustainable way: make sure people know they can contact you in case of an emergency at all times. For all other things that aren't emergencies, have a backup person to address issues. No one should contact you for minor or non urgent things when you've logged off, because you need time off too!
