How can I include boosting in my business predictions?

Do you know what boosting is? Do you know some people use it to predict the world cup winner?

A frog alone may not be good enough to forecast weather, but what if you take into account the behaviour of several frogs?

Imagine you have soft rules to forecast which team's going to win the next match, e.g. if a particular player comes to the pitch or if the opponent team has a red card.

Find soft rules for your business and combine them, how many good products reviews you've received, how many new customers are following you on social media: together they can be very strong at telling what's next quarter's going to be like. Keep testing if they work well and add more of necessary. Multiple poor decision rules can become good predictors when observed together.
