Should I encourage my team or let them find motivation within themselves?

Working with other people is never easy and it can be very upsetting to face problems at the wrong moment, when deadlines are tight and consequences are big. Going through tough times is a challenge and making sure everybody will keep good memories is even more difficult. That's key if you want to keep the team united and happy.

Whatever happens, keep spirits up!

Luckily the human brain is selective and bad moments are soon forgotten. But there needs to be good moments to remember else there'll be nothing in the end. That's where encouraging people works best: show you care about them and you're ready to do something to help them do their best. They'll definitely remember the good vibes, if not the exact situation when it happened.

Encouragements give strength to people and helps creating good memories. It also enables people to go further and reveal their inner potential.
