Are you actively present in meetings?

If you're taking part in a meeting, make sure you really make a difference to it. I'm not saying you should spend all your time in meetings, but in all those you attend you should be proactive.

Proactive means not waiting for others to see things but showing them what matters

What should you do?

  • Keep eye contact, align your talking speed to other people.
  • Ask questions, include people who speak less than others, suggest to invite others in further meetings.
  • Have fun in the meeting until all issues are cleared. If no more issues are raised, ask to move on.
